Saudi Arabia tops the list for UK military exports, June 7
'Strategic Exports Controls Report 2003', Foreign &
Commonwealth Office, June 2004 (released on June 7, 2004).
Saudi Arabia is the largest recipient of British military
equipment according to a joint report by the UK Foreign &
Commonwealth Office, Department of Trade & Industry, Department
for International Development, and the Ministry of Defence, issued
in June 2004. In 2003, the UK exported £189.33 million of
military equipment to Saudi Arabia, making it by far the greatest
recipient of British military exports.
