Many have lost dear friends in these recent times. In
particular, we extend our deepest condolences to those bereaved and
injured by the bombing of the United Nations in Baghdad. The brutal
murder of Anna Lindh has also come as a great shock and we send our
sincere sympathy to her family, colleagues and friends. As Foreign
Minister of Sweden, Anna Lindh proved to be an open, passionate and
hugely admired champion of disarmament, human rights and the search
for a just and peaceful world order, and for her to be cut down in
the prime of her life is a tragic loss, not only for Sweden, but
for the world.
Disarmament Diplomacy publishes articles to stimulate
