KEDO Announces Cost-Estimate for North Korean Reactors
Following an Executive Board meeting in Washington on 25 November,
the Korean Peninsular Energy Development Organization (KEDO)
announced its cost-estimate for the construction of two light-water
reactors in North Korea. The total cost is expected to reach
$5.1785 billion. KEDO was set up by the US, Japan and South Korea,
and recently joined by the European Union.
