'Historical Accounting for UK Defence Highly Enriched Uranium', A report by the Ministry of Defence on the role of historical accounting for Highly Enriched Uranium for the United Kingdom's Defence Nuclear programmes, March 2006.
The UK's 1998 Strategic Defence Review recommended that a process of declassification and historical accounting of the UK's defence fissile material produced since the beginning of the defence nuclear programme should be carried out. A report on the first phase of this process, covering Plutonium, was published in April 2000. This report on the second phase of this process covers High Enriched Uranium (HEU) used in defence programmes.
