IAEA brands US Report on Iran 'erroneous' and 'misleading', September 12, 2006

The IAEA has described a US report on Iran's nuclear programme as 'erroneous' and 'misleading'. In a letter to Peter Hoekstra, head of the US House of Representatives' Select Committee on Intelligence, the IAEA took "strong exception to the incorrect and misleading assertion" that the IAEA removed senior safeguards inspector Chris Charlier for "allegedly raising concerns about Iranian deception" over its programme.
